Founded by Sonia Taborda, dialogue is a contemporary art gallery and platform for experimentation based in Lisbon, with its main space in Marvila.

Emerging from a background that bridges architecture and art, dialogue began as a project with dialogue #01, presented during ARCO Lisboa 2023. This first activation defined the gallery’s approach. The programme evolves organically, guided by close collaboration with artists.

Alongside its exhibition programme, dialogue develops a public programme that includes Artists in Conversation, Little Studio, and Reading Room, fostering engagement with diverse audiences and encouraging dialogue across disciplines.

The gallery represents Portuguese and international artists, supporting both emerging and established practices, and develops long-term projects that connect art and architecture through site-specific and interdisciplinary collaborations.

Rooted in the creative process, dialogue positions itself as a space for experimentation, exchange, and critical reflection.
