DUPLEX is an artist-run space that was born from the desire to create a project dedicated to contemporary artistic practice and research, countering the isolation that often characterizes them.

Seeking to value creative processes, experimentation and artistic production, as well as the discourse that these dynamics give rise to, DUPLEX presents itself as a privileged territory for the coexistence of different artists, different ways of creating and different ways of thinking about the work of art and the world in which it is inserted.

It is with this drive that it hosts 10 studios for permanent artists and 8 studios for artists in residence, and promotes in its independent and non-commercial gallery, a broad public program that involves not only the artists who work in the space, but also emerging artists born in the 80s and 90s, as well as exhibitions in partnership with national and international projects with similar intentions.
