Founded in 2026, UMA galeria has established itself as a new space dedicated to contemporary visual arts, the result of a process of curatorial renewal and redefinition. Housed in a renovated space, the project strengthens its position within the national art scene through a consistent and focused program.

Aiming to exclusively promote emerging artists residing in Portugal, UMA develops a continuous exhibition program, focused primarily on solo shows, which foster a deeper exploration and greater visibility of each artistic practice. At the same time, the gallery plays an active role in cultural mediation, fostering connections between artists, works, and audiences and encouraging critical reflection.
