NowHere is a non-profit cultural association managed by women, mothers, and arts professionals. An experimental laboratory of contemporary art created by curator Cristiana Tejo and artists Luiza Baldan and Marilá Dardot. Since 2018, we have been promoting critical support in artistic and curatorial practices, with a focus on horizontal exchanges, reflections, and conceptual and expressive strategies.

A significant portion of the projects developed in the laboratories is showcased in exhibitions at our space in Lisbon, where artistic residencies, workshops, and partnership events are also held. The purpose of NowHere is to foster the professionalization and integration of our community in the contemporary art scene, welcoming resident artists both in Portugal and from other parts of the planet, including remote and online participants.
